I am avid user of Google meet. I use it for almost any other meetings be it my internal team or other teams and even stakeholders and vendors for the organization. It has a significant importance and due to its borderless integration I use it to connect to the teams based out of my country's geographical borders. Moreover it becomes highly feasible and easy for me to set up meetings with anyone because of the find a time feature and also send them a invite and reminders without me having to take no additional steps for the same.
  • Meeting Scheduling
  • Timely reminders
  • FInding Timing slot between meeting stakeholders
• Advanced Screen sharing options
  • Blurring backgrounds
  • Adjusting auto focus
  • Emoticons
  • Real time screen usage for marking
  • Poll features on chat
  • Chat specific enabling options
For an internal more confidential meeting , Google meet is the best place as it offers a sense of confidentiality and the secured number of users who can actually access the meeting whereas a more interactive digital workshop type session is where google meet is the least prefered option.

The Google Meet was basically used for conducting Online Classes , Exams, Webinars and Competitions. The major problem that most students face is that they cannot record meetings when they require as recordings .Also, the number of participants should be apprxoimately 500 as it creates a lot of problems while conducting webinars.
  • Screen Sharing
  • Polls/Quiz
  • Questions and Answers
  • Chat Messages
  • Recordings
  • Number of Participants
Well suited for - Online Exams / Assessments / Quizzes, Group Discussions, Webinars, Online Classes, Any other meetings ,etc. purposes. Less Suited for - For Recording Purposes as majority times recordings feature is not available to common users. - For Conducting webinars that have more than 500 participants , it is not recommended for that purposes.

A simple and indispensable tool for the home office!! We use it every day, Google Meet is one of the most used tools in the company. We do all our daily meetings there, the weekly and monthly ones as well. there are many internal meetings with customers through Meet! we spend an average of 40 minutes in our daily meetings, the weekly meetings are around 60 minutes, and the monthly meetings are also around 60 minutes. As our company operates entirely from home, it is an indispensable tool for us.
  • Presentation, fast and quality image.
  • Works with a bad connections.
  • Backup call, if we have problems we can use a number to call and continuous at de call, just calling a phone number!
  • Simple to use
  • Personalization of the organization of the camera screens presents in the call.
  • Improve the chat, I don't know, but it should improve usability or accessibility, maybe stay in another part of the meet space.
  • Notifications, I hate forget a call, maybe if I stay at the main room I could be noticed.
I think Google Meet is appropriate for many occasions: short or long meetings, sales or support presentations. I think the only possibility that is not appropriate is for many people and if it's a very quick call, you have to create a room and so on, sometimes you're in a hurry and you just want to call fast and talk.

I have used Google Hangout Meets for my contact with the team I was mentoring during a hackathon organised by the British Computer Society and establishing some new relationships with potential business partners. I found it very helpful to connect with people regardless of the organisations they belonged to - in the end quite a few people have google account nowadays.
  • helped to connect different people
  • gave us space to discuss the topic
  • enabled sharing other resources
  • captions
  • I found setting up the meeting less intuitive than other similar apps
  • I struggle to get back to in-call messages after meeting was finished
  • when I first set up the meeting my partners have not got their invitations
Google Hangouts Meet is very well suited to have a one-off or a series of meetings with the smaller audience (when we do not expect to use breakouts rooms) that do not include keeping in-call messages. I found also Google Hangout Meet quite a universal tool that does not require any specific software apart from the one that we tend to use on daily basis. If we want to have an ongoing conversation and everything in one place it may not be the best solution.

Google Hangouts Meet along with the entire Google suite is very useful when it comes to connectivity as well as the ability to sync various meetings in your calendar so that no one can miss any important meeting in their day.
The users also get the flexibility to use either the web client or the mobile client which enhances the mobility that the users can experience when using Google Hangouts Meet.
  • Aligning the meetings based on the calendar times of all users.
  • Supported all across the globe to ensure that no one is missing from the action.
  • Support for inviting users from other platforms and managing the guests properly.
  • Large chat rooms and screen recording and sharing abilities.
  • The overall user experience can be improved when it comes to multi user meetings.
  • The mobile app can be Improved to allow the user to choose the audience he wants in focus.
  • The integrations with Gmail can be improved to add the meetings as an overlay.
Google Hangouts Meet is best when it is to be used as the primary communication tool between the clients and the users of the company.
It is great as it allows the user to seamlessly switch from Google Calendar to the meeting and the users can manage not just the invitees but also the other non invited people.

We have been using Google Meet for a very long time now to hold web meetings. It is to make quick calls and connect with teammates and clients. It is so easy to use and the ease of integration with other Google products makes it even better. The software is used across all departments and it makes connectivity easy.
  • Google Meet is easy to use and offers great features
  • The quality of video and audio is amazing
  • Deployment is easy
  • Never buffers when network is unstable
  • No recording option for free users
  • The free version comes with limited features
Google Meet is ideal for a mid-size company. It has been working well for us and it meets all our connectivity needs. Google Meet is also suitable for people using Google products because it easily integrates with other Google products.

Hangouts Meet is our go to option when it comes to a quick call or discussion. Apart from one on one audio/video calls, we use it to setup meetings in the team. Its used in the whole organization. It helps us with quick and easy connectivity with each other, let it be amongst the team or with the customers.
  • Low data usage. Works perfectly fine even on slow network.
  • No installation needed. Web version is all you need. Fully supported my major web browsers like Chrome & Edge.
  • Captions are great. Non-native English speakers may find it useful. Just turn on the Captions and it starts translating the audio in real-time.
  • Support background images. Definitely useful when we need to hide our room condition.
  • Breakout room, polls, Q&A options are added advantage.
  • Not suited when we have to address a huge set of people. We usually face problems when we have more than 60 participants and prefer other platforms.
  • Each participant is shown as a tile which could have been made resizable.
  • Recording is like a basic need. It should be made available to free users as well.
I feel its not really useful for online teaching as it misses on whiteboard. But it still a very good tool for quick meetings and presentations. I feel its best suited whenever you are in hangouts chat and want to have a quick meeting.
Its integration with calendar makes it really useful. This makes it easier to include meeting URL in the invite. It also get the attachments automatically from your calendar when you are in meeting.
It works even when you have a slow network. The mobile application is equally useful and dependable.

Google Hangouts is used as a video conferencing application in our company since after the pandemic started. As our offices were forced to close for offline work, the members of the company decided to move to Google Hangouts/Google Meet for the meetings with our clients. We usually talk with our clients and peers using the application.
  • Easy to use
  • Bug friendly
  • Good Screen Sharing capablity
  • Very good video quality
  • Inviting members in the meeting
  • Live Polling in the meeting
  • Document Sharing
Google Hangouts Meet is the perfect application to use when you have a low budget for video conferences or company meetings as the application is itself free of cost to use. The add-on google calendar also helps to arrange the meetings. Further, it is very convenient to conduct online classes for school or college-going students too.

We use Google Hangouts Meet to have staff meetings and training, multiple departments across the whole company use it as it's an easy and quick way to get together in a meeting. Now that we're working from home, it has been crucial to the quick communication between staff members and other departments.
  • First and foremost, it's free. It has a limited amount of users and time, but the value is great.
  • It's easy to access, as you don't have to download any application and the connection to the servers is great.
  • The user interface is simple and clear for everyone, you may not be able to use it with children, but everyone is able to read and act accordingly when performing a task (sharing screens, sharing files, chatting, turning features off and on, etc.).
  • You can use features in Google's portfolio to your advantage while using it
  • It doesn't have all the features that other meeting/training options have, like annotations that are easy to use or remote control when sharing a screen
For meetings that are quick, simple, and without a lot of people, is perfect. Everyone can join quickly and control their screen how they like it, also there isn't a lot of setups needed.
Webinars or presentations where participation is not completely necessary are great in Google Hangouts Meet too.
For training classes where the participants need to control the presenter's computer or someone would like to annotate directly in someone else's computer, it might not be ideal, as you could do it downloading an extension, but it's not integrated.

We are constantly communicating since we have been using Google Hangouts Meet; we decided through an internal meeting that this software can discuss, hold meetings, and generally share via remote. We have done meetings of about one or two hours, and it has not cut off the call; it is efficient.
  • It is a very light software that supports any device; I mainly have it on my cell phone, which has been excellent.
  • I communicate with my workgroup from this application to solve any problem.
  • The chat is fast and very simple to use.
  • I can save the chat history, see who can initiate the conversation and the high quality.
  • They should fix the stability of the microphone; honestly, it is complicated to start a conversation when this specifically fails.
  • I have had problems with additional recharging costs when adding my phone number.
I suggest it for all those interested in implementing an internal communication system with their employees; it is good, it works quickly, and it is very decisive to address critical issues. Google Hangouts Meet delivers.

Google Hangouts Meet is being used throughout the company to conduct meetings through video calls. We use the service practically every day to talk to customers and suppliers. Ease of use is a great strength, even without a lot of internet and technology knowledge, it is very easy to access meetings via Google Hangouts Meet.
  • Ease of use
  • Slideshow possibility
  • Chat space
  • Recording of meetings
Google Hangouts Meet is very suitable for meetings with a slideshow or just internal meetings with customers and suppliers. The service is not appropriate when we need to record the meeting for future consultation or company documentation. When we need to record the meeting, we end up opting for other services or applications.

Google Meet is used by our entire organization as our tool of choice for online meetings. It gives us an easy-to-use way of conducting our meetings with internal and external counterparts. We all use Gmail so it is easy to include in our meeting invites and options to record and present are easy to use!
  • Screen sharing and presenting in one click and you can select specific windows or the entire screen
  • Record functionality is simple and the delivery straight to your email is great with Drive storage as well.
  • Chat also helps share links if needed.
  • I always find the need to share a file during the call and not being able to do that via the chat is a miss I feel.
Simple to use and great integration with email and calendar. Create links to meets on the fly if needed for a quick chat or schedule your meet with Google Calendar in a few clicks! A reliable way to communicate and supported by 95% of my contacts.

In our organization, Google Hangouts Meet is used for presentation and also for a lecture.
Everyone can connect at a time from anywhere, no need to seat at the same place which is the biggest problem is solved by Google Hangout Meet.
We can send the invitation by that all the people can notify and join.
  • All the participants up to the 100 can connect at a time.
  • Anyone can share the screen and explain their thoughts or deliver the information.
  • Admin has access to remove or mute any of the participants.
  • There is functionality of accessing the screen of participant is not there in a meet which is there in similar type of product.
  • Maximum participants can join is 100, which needs to be some more because organization may have more number of participants.
  • Sometime the video quality is not good we need to rejoin to get that better.
I will strongly recommend a Google Hangout Meet if you want to connect all the members online.
The user interface of Google Hangout Meet is very simple anyone can join with few clicks.
We can create future meetings and invite people to notify them about a meeting.
Also, I like the integration with Google Calender which is quite helpful to attend the meeting on a time.

From the moment the covid-19 crisis occurred and we resorted to teleworking, we rely on Google hangouts [to] [serve] as the main platform and facilitator of all communications in our company. [We] use it daily in video calls for [preview] and post shows, where we share the latest news of the processes; [we also use Google Handouts] to socialize the scorecard, trainings, and last minute meetings when immediate action is required on our operation due to failures in the area or services, among other uses. We use it in all our departments and the benefit we have obtained with its implementation has been really important and productive. [Its] functions promote and favor collaborative work, as [well as] the chat and messaging function, whicj allows us to be always in contact with our work team. [Google Handouts Meet] is really useful and fits very well in our business.
  • Its high quality audio and video.
  • Events can be created directly from Google Calendar as required.
  • Video streaming.
  • The security offered on every connection, whether audio or video, ensures that content is always protected.
  • Its interface is easy to use.
  • Their mobile application is easy to use and works very well.
  • Sincroniza con Google Drive.
  • Reduce the size of the chat box [because] it occupies a large part of the screen and makes it difficult to carry out other processes.
  • All information or data shared in the chat during a meeting is lost after the meeting is over.
  • Compatibility with browsers other than [Chrome].
Google [Hangouts Meet] is ideal for shortening distances and strengthen remote work, conduct meetings, training, conferences, and others. [Its] great collaborative environment, facilitates the interaction of work teams either through audio calls, video calls or messaging; with unparalleled quality and efficiency, [...] your section start is done through [Gmail]. Our group presently uses Google Hangouts Meet as a critical tool within online instruction through COVID. We are engaging students across all classrooms, contents, and grade levels with direct, live instruction, as well as recorded lessons with asynchronous learners. We also utilize it for building-wide and district-wide meetings, engaging all staff simultaneously.
  • Integration of other apps, like JamBoard
  • Easy-to-use interface
  • Integrated with Google Calendar
  • Breakout rooms for smaller group discussion
  • Difficult to re-add individuals who have been removed from video
  • Default setting to “Spotlight” or “Grid View” can be challenging
  • Limited connectivity with large groups
As we work to provide instruction during a global pandemic, we are moving from in-person to remote learning fluidly. Using Google Hangouts Meet, students are able to see the teacher as well as the instruction provided on a Google Chrome tab or other connected device. Through presenting their screen, presenters can share a presentation with viewers while still being able to interact. Similarly, the chat and closed captioning features make accessibility even easier to solidify.

This has been a great software, especially for someone who has a bunch of different calls throughout the day and week with clients who live in different time zones. My favorite aspect of Google Hangouts Meet is that it allows you to sync it directly with your calendar. This prevents calls from getting overlapped with others. It also makes it super easy to invite new clients to a call, and the record feature makes it perfect for those who want to go back and review what was discussed.
  • Easy to use and invite others to use
  • Easy to share your screen and record meetings
  • Syncs with your calendar, keeping things organized
  • Additonal cost for the record feature
I like Google Meet better than Zoom and other video conference software because of its simplicity. It is very convenient to invite clients to a chat via the Google Hangouts Meet link that you can include in an event with one click of a button. It also takes out any of the additional charges that would be accumulated by communicating with someone internationally; this easy-to-use software takes that out of the equation.

Google Meet is being used by my organisation for its simplicity and stable communication. It's very easy to enter the meeting and get started. The screen sharing feature works perfectly to help conduct conference effectively. Clients and trainees can also use realtime speech to text feature even in the version. The time limit in the free version is 60 minutes which is enough to run a training session and online classes. The app takes a very small space and runs smoothly even in low end devices.
  • Their Speech to Text feature is very useful.
  • The shared screen can be zoomed and the contents get more detailed which helps the user to notice small details.
  • The video feed is very stable and clear unlike others video conference apps.
  • If you get kicked out of meeting due to bad network you can easily rejoin without any hassle.
  • Sometimes the app closes suddenly.
  • The free version has fewer features.
Google Hangouts Meet is best suited for online classes by integrating it with Google Classroom and Google Forms. But I don't think It can used to hold online examinations effectively.

We use Meet across the organization as our go-to resource for remote meetings. Now that we are all remote, we rely on Meet to replace what would otherwise be in-person face time. The entire organization uses it, but some team still rely on free Zoom accounts for external meetings. Meet allows us to easily stay connected without having to add operational expenses.
  • There is lots of customization to the platform through add-ons.
  • It is convenient and easy to integrate since we utilize G Suite.
  • It's hard to beat a system that is entirely free!
  • Meet as it comes doesn't have a great way to handle large meetings.
  • I don't like the way they hide the mute button. It's a disruptive view to mute/unmute.
  • Chat box is the only way to document collaborations within the meeting.
Meet is great for internal, small, and casual conversations. It is a great substitute for a quick swing by someones desk or a quick morning check-in. Meet is not great for large meetings. Meet is also not great for meetings that require a lot of collaboration and brain storming, since it is hard to capture within Meet.

My organization uses Google Hangouts Meet to informally connect with colleagues. It is used across the whole organization. Its integration with Gsuite is its best feature and makes working remotely very efficient and easy. Google Hangouts Meets integration with Gmail and Gsuite is the icing on the cake when it comes to solving business problems and also replaces tools like Slack. With Google Hangouts Meet, we do not have to pay for another conversation platform.
  • Video Conferencing
  • Instant Text
  • File Sharing
  • Social Connectivity
  • Free International Calling
  • UI/UX
  • Features like changing background in Video Chat
  • Screen Control

Google Hangouts Meet is being used by different teams in my department as a way to communicate remotely. It doesn't address a particular business problem per se but definitely helps with communication in a remote environment.
  • Ease of access
  • Price
  • One-click login
  • Video and audio quality
  • It doesn't work efficiently for more than 10 group of people.
  • Accessibility with other web browsers such as Firefox, UC Browser, and Safari.
Google meet is well suited if you are video calling with maybe 3- 4 people. It has good audio and video quality and can be accessed through one-click login via Gmail. Anyone can record the meeting, although the recording will be stored in the cloud of the host. However, in scenarios where attendees need to be muted, anyone can do that, which means I can mute an attendee and remove them from the conference. Therefore, this authority needs to be done with as only the host should have the ability to mute or remove a particular attendee.

We make use of Google Meet in the normal course of business especially now during the Covid-19 pandemic. We use Google Meet for one-on-one video conference calls and group conference calls as well. We presently conduct one or two video calls per week.
  • Allows for a simple interaction with both video and audio in a quality manner
  • Google Meet takes very little training for the user.
  • Quality of the transaction is quite good.
  • Increase the size of the video window for the host.
  • Offer a transcript of the video call.
  • Forward a reminder of the video conference to the host at a preset time prior to the event.
Google Hangouts Meet is great for one-on-one as well as group calls. In the current world of social distancing, Google Meet has been a great alternative to Zoom.

Most students at our University have access to Google Hangouts Meet. We started using it more frequently during quarantine and it has been used for staff meetings, and for social interactions. I have used it for virtual games in addition to other interactions as well. Students have generally found this to be an easy to use tool. Since there is no additional cost, this is a great choice for our case. We are already subscribers of the Google Suite for Education, which includes Google Hangouts Meet.
  • Browser-based interface available, no installation needed.
  • Simple mobile app.
  • Screen-share capability.
  • Preview window is very small.
  • Chat is not integrated with hangouts, it's a little confusing.
Google Meet is great for a meeting that does not need to be recorded, only needs chat, audio, video, and screen share. This is a simple tool for simple meetings. If you need break-out rooms then this is not suitable.
It is very easy to have a single link that you can reuse. I use one link for all 1:1 meetings that are impromptu so I don't need to create a new link each time.
